Drama & Movement in Therapy

Autumn Workshops

September 30th & 28th October 2017

Our movements tell a story, often the 'untold story' and the story that doesn't get expressed. These stories live in our bodies, souls, imaginations and dreams, ready for us to listen to them and express them.

The two workshops explore the MASCULINE & FEMININE PRINCIPLES. Working with imagination and movement to explore how their dynamics are working in you. Are they in balance? Are they expressing your soul? How do they move you?

Movement & Story & Theatre workshops© are based in the Sesame Approach to Drama and Movement Therapy™ which uses drama and movement, voice, touch, story and imagination, to access the healing resources that live in the core of our being. Movement & Story© are experiential and each workshops focuses on a specific theme.

In this workshop we will also be working with these dynamics through movement, dance, voice, improvisation, visualisation, meditation and ritual. Movement & Story, and Movement & Story & Theatre workshops are open to beginners, experienced 'movers', performers, people interested in wellbeing through self-expression, therapists and health care professionals.
