Drama & Movement in Therapy

 

Due to current restrictions, Movement & Story Workshops are not taking place.

Let's not stop moving and imagining! Make time to engage with your body - On your own or with a friend or family member, make space in your living area to dance and stretch your body. Choose some music that has a steady rhythm and ideally no vocals. Starting with your feet, breath down and let your feet not your mind let you know how they want to move. Small movement or bigger movements it doesn't matter. The important thing is to allow your body to speak, not your thoughts - 'this is how I should move', 'I look stupid', I'm not fit' etcetera. Ignore all thoughts and keep returning to your breath. Move up your body gradually until all your body is moving. Find your story and enjoy!
